T-Mobile US, Inc. ($TMUS) Stock Surges on Record Q2 Growth and Upraised Guidance
T-Mobile US shares jumped 6.52% to $249.19 following a robust second-quarter earnings report. Diluted earnings per share ROSE 14% to $2.84, surpassing analyst expectations of $2.69. Revenue climbed 6% year-over-year to $17.4 billion, slightly exceeding Wall Street forecasts. The wireless carrier added 830,000 postpaid phone subscribers and 454,000 internet customers, reinforcing its market leadership.
Average Revenue per Account (ARPA) grew over 5%, marking the strongest increase in eight years. This was driven by the April launch of new rate plans and higher adoption of premium offerings. Adjusted free cash FLOW reached $4.6 billion, a record for any second quarter. T-Mobile raised its full-year guidance for postpaid net additions and free cash flow, signaling continued momentum in both wireless and broadband segments.
